thank you! for your kind and encouraging comments about my paintings. your words are so very much appreciated. truly. several of you asked whether the paintings will be for sale. the answer is that i don't yet know. but i promise to tell you when i do. and really, thank you for inquiring. you make a neighbor feel good!

today, just a few scenes from the work in progress that is our home.

and really, i'm thankful to notice - and to capture - the spots of beauty and texture and light that can be found in the midst of the dust and the hassle.

i'll be away from this space, now, for the rest of the week. seems that life around here requires a bit of extra attention in the midst of the tumult.

Wow, what a transformation! I love home improvement but it's really a lot of work, especially painting. I like painted walls but not that work it takes to paint them!
