more mail

and then there were the packages.

photo swap package from alicia

the last of the photo swap packages, from alicia. i am in love with this photograph. and she sent along a paperwhite bulb! (you know how i feel about bulbs. i'm looking for a pot, alicia, i promise!)

my custom diptych from the noticing project

and a favorite diptych from the noticing project shop. (did i mention that i need a wall?) the enclosure card made me swoon.

a package from charlotte!

and then there was this package from charlotte.

tote bag from charlotte's shop

with this tote bag that i couldn't resist when i saw it in her shop a few weeks ago.

goodies from charlotte

and also her gocco swap print (did i mention that i did a little side swapping!? i did.) and a set of the loveliest note cards with her photographs. and wrapped up in there, with all of that goodness and some little candies, was the butterfly print that i admired in her shop a while back.

opening this package from charlotte gave me such a sense of awe at time and space and the internet. here was this precious package, lovingly wrapped up by charlotte in new zealand, with these beautiful goods she made with her own hands, now right here, in my home, on the other side of the world. i can't seem to stop thinking about it - it comes right back, each time i pick up the tote (which has been stuffed, so far, with knitting, sewing, and reading materials. and at one point, with all three.).

lotta goodness from leslie's shop

last but certainly not least, there was this package from leslie's shop of goodness. the lotta fabrics. (how could i resist?)

gocco goodness from leslie's shop

and the gocco supplies. because i've got the bug now. bad. and who doesn't need a whole slew of gocco inks (some of which i'm waiting until later to share...) and some fabric screens? (and leslie always packs her boxes with the best little goodies inside. do you see those candies? and the mini-clothespins!?)

and now, my hands are - quite literally - full of goodness.

but there was more goodness last week, if you can imagine. tomorrow, very special meetings, and presents.

you are in trouble emily. i immediately went to leslie's shop, where i just spent half an hour narrowing down what to buy, and then spent way too much money. (oh, but i'm so excited now!). your mailbox is one happy place to be these days.

Dang, girl. I mulled too long over that orange rectangle Lotta fabric in Leslie's store, and someone, probably you, bought it in the meantime!

That Lotta fabric is gorgeous. Just plain gorgeousness. I don't think I could handle a mailbox like yours. Pretty sure I'd be worn out from the excitement every day. ;)
